Pro Hunter Hammer Problem

Finally got around to getting a TC Pro Hunter (my first TC) and stuck a .44 mag barrel on it.  I've fired maybe six shots through it (factory ammo) and really think I'm going to enjoy it.  Of course I toy with my guns even when I can't get out so I often cock it and release it as you would when deciding not to take a shot (Not dry fire).  The problem is, now the hammer will not stay cocked when I release my thumb from it.  It doesn't fall and hit the firing pin, just goes back too the pre-cocked position.  Anyone have an idea on what my problem might be and a fix for it?  Thanks!

Well after some help from a mechanically inclined friend it turned out to be a quick two minute fix.  Glad I didn't have to send it in to TC for warranty work for something so simple.

Well without looking at the schematics, here is the basic idea.  I removed the pistol grip which left the frame.  Where the pistol grip or buttstock attaches to the frame there is a bolt that the grip screws into but also the bolt screws into the frame.  So after the pistol grip was removed we removed the bolt which allowed a spring and pin to be pulled out.  This pin was the culprit piece.  Apparently it simply turned slightly to one side and the hammer would no longer catch and hold on it.  If you look under the hammer from behind you will see this pin and the area it is supposed to be in.  Not a real great explination but I'm sure there are others out there that know the proper names for the parts in question.  If I get a chance in the future I'll try and post some simple pictures (need to read up on how to do that).  I'm suprised no one has had something like this happen, hopefully I"m the last one.
