Ruger sights

Does anyone else dislike the sights on the Ruger Blackhawks. I find the front sight too wide for me to get any accuracy out of. I just cant seem to center targets past 25 yards on the sight. My last BH I narrowed the sight by about 1/2 and cut my groups by the same. Similarily the vaquero I had sported a narrower front blade and I was able to shoot it more accurately. I really wish Ruger would use a removable type blade and give shooters an option without having to go to a custom gunsmith.

I like the Ruger sights myself, but you're right, they could offer replacement blades in different widths. But I am not aware of any handgun maker who does offer different blade widths.

The story of David & Goliath only demonstrates the superiority of ballistic projectiles over hand weapons, poor old Goliath never had a chance.

I like them.. but I don't know nothin' ... LOL
never tried the thinner ones but probably will... there is just too much talk about them being easier to scare accuracy out of.
