Taurus pistol for a handgun newb
« on: March 20, 2008, 01:38:38 PM »
I'm kind of new to pistol shooting.  Wanting to purchase my first pistol.  On a pretty tight budget these days.    Really looking for a decent plinker for not much $$$.

What to look for?  What to look out for.

You know what caliber and what size handgun you looking into for plinking?  A little more info please.

Caliber
Frame size
Potential use

If you are on a tight budget, and want something just to throw lead at targets, I would get a browning buck mark .22lr.

If you are looking for centerfire, that is where the discussion begins.
