Where to find scope mount plug screws?

My rifle, purchased used, had a scope base with no plug screws included.  I'd like to get a set, I don't like empty screw holes in my receiver.  I'll probably spend more on shipping than the price for the screws.  That's the price of living in an area where nothing one needs can be found!

If there is a gun shop that installs scopes anywhere near you they will have lots of them from guns that they put scopes on.  If you are a regular customer (some of us feel that by now we should be part owner) they most likely will give you the screws free.

demented, I would not be surprised if Marlin just sent you the 4 filler screws free. But even if they do charge you the price with shipping will be very reasonable. Byron
