Savage LE models

Does anyone have experience with the savage LE models in .308 Win?  I am looking into getting one but would like to hear some experiences with them.  I heard great things but thought I would ask around here!  Thanks in advance guys.

I have one of the 10FP with the HS-Precision stock on it. I love it. At 100 yards I can get 1/4 groups with either my handloads or the premium ammo. Also have the Nikon tactical scope on it. Took a ground hog with it at 700 yards. Great white tail rifle as well. I paid 700 for mine out the door. Real nice gun for the price.

Mine is a 10FP in 20 inch in .308 with synthetic stock. I sorta got a good deal on it from Ron, the owner of Savage.

I put a Burris 3x12 scope on it.

If you point it at something, it hits it.

At 100 yards, 12 gauge hulls for plinking targets get boring after a while.

mine shoots great only complaint is the savage factory synthetic stock is too short for me(6'tall ) in the prone.

I own two Savage LE rifles one in .223 and the other in .308 both are tack drivers. The .308 I have fitted with a Choate Stock. I am a retired SWAT Tactical Marksman from a small department. These weapons are very accurate. It is the person behind them that must do everything else correct. Both weapons and the the accessories I have about 750-850 dollars in each. The only complaint I have is the .223 shell extractor needs tweeked.
