I have had 3 Llamas, 2 .45's 1 9mm and my Dad has a .380. The 9mm is the only one I could never get to work right. My Dad's .380 was bought in the late 60's i learned to shoot handguns with it, he carried it for 20+ years and never had any problems. My 2 .45's were of mid 70's and mid 90's vintage, both worked with any ammo I fed them. The 9mm worked most of the time with FMJ, but wouldn't feed HP. Even after a bit of polishing. Conclusion, most Llama's worked, but a few were real lemons. Llama has been gone since 2001 or so, parts are still around, but pricey.
