I found to-day a weaver scope marked 2x7V made in the u.s.a. $10.00 1" steel tube
the scope itself is in excellent condition but I am going to send it in and have the lens checked seem it clear but a slight shadow appears could just be a smudge glass on the eye piece.

Where do you send an obsolete Weaver scope to " get it checked out " and how much should a person expect to pay for this service?

BAD NEWS!! Weaver Scope Repair Service in El Paso,TX is closing as soon as they repair the scopes they have in shop. I called and asked about another repair shop, nothing. May be hearing about a place in Canada soon.

That's too bad about Weaver repair, that leaves ABO who does good work, but they're reeaall slow.
