Introducing myself Michigan!
« on: October 15, 2007, 08:55:29 AM »
Just wanted to drop a line and a hello to everyone from the Great Lakes State.  I asked Graybeard if I could mod this section if he approved the Michigan hunting section. I also mod the Boating section.

I am retired from "Uncle Sam's Confused Group" (U.S.C.G.)  I'm up on the West end of the U.P. and hunt and trap just about everyday.  I grew up here as a kid, but moved later on and I have worked and lived just about everywhere else in Michigan so I know the state very well.  As you can see I do a lot of outdoor photography.  I've had my trail cams out now for a few years and have around 3,000 pictures of wolves, bears, coyutes and other critter's.  Today was opening day of trapping, but I trap year 'round on the problem farms...

Look foward to chatting and even hunting to those who make the trip up here.  We have a couple Predator hunts every year and I've donated a nice savage .22-250 to the U.P. Predator Challange the past 3 years.  I run the yoopersportsman site so I'm glad I can donate a gun to the cause.  Ontonagon Valley Sportsmans Club has a predator now also.  I'm a member there also.

If any of ya are up here and want to hunt let me know, or meet up for a "yooper pop" just holler.   ;D
