this might be dumb to ask but i will anyways. I have a lot of 44cal 300gr hand cast lead bullets that i use for my slingshot and can i use them in a 44cal black power revolver?

You will have to measure them.  44 Caliber cap & ball pistol bores are actually 45 caliber, usually about 454 to 456 groove diameter.

44 referred to the bore size before rifling. (the land diameter)

300 grains is too long and heavy for a cap & ball cylinder to swallow.

You also want to shoot only pure lead through the cap and ball.  Most other stuff is a lead alloy.

thanks guys ;D  I have lots of both black and smokeless power bullets form 25-454 cal that i use for my slingshot and i always was thinking about if i could use those 44 mag bullets in a black power gun.
