I picked up a used Glenfield .22 today for $95.00 out the door. It's a Model 25. The bolt was installed incorrectly and it wouldn't fire. It took me about 10 minutes to figure out what was going on with that. It has a little Glenfield .22 scope on it that I'll probably replace with a 1" tubed scope from Walmart. After I cleaned it up, it shot quite nicely. These Glenfields are sleepers.

Congratulations!
I agree with you. The Mod 25's are great little guns. Prices have been modestly climbing over the past year or two. With their wood stocks, accuracy capabilities and decent finish, they are still a bargain on today's market.
Enjoy!
