Cabelas Lever-Action scope
« on: November 12, 2007, 02:53:11 AM »
Anyone tried to mount one of Cabela's Lever-Action scopes that are designed for Hornday's LeverEvolution ammo on a 45-70 handi? If so what was your opinion of the setup and how well did the designed mil-dots work out at 200 and 300yds?

I bought the lever revolution scope about a month ago. The eye relief was good, but the optics were horrible. The field of view at 100 yards on 9x is about 8 or9 feet. There is also alot of distortion to the peripheral edges of the lens. Optic wise this was the worst scope I've ever looked through. I sent it back for a credit before I fired a shot with it.
