Are There Any Whitetail Outfitters In Minnesota?
« on: March 23, 2007, 05:16:21 AM »
I have gone to Canada for large whitetails but have recently wondered if there is an outfitter in my home state of Minnesota that has QDM program going.  If I had a chance to hunt big bucks in Minnesota I would seriously look into it.  Anybody aware of anyone?   Thanks  Buckfever

I guess I got my answer there either aren't any or they don't know about Greybeard's Forum!   Buckfever

I would bet a few people who could have answered accurately may have over- looked your thread accidentally for lack of a more appropriate title.

I wasn't sure myself what the title was about.  If I were to ask the advice you seek, I may have written a title like:

Know Of Any Whitetail Outfitters In Minnesota?

Are There Any Whitetail Outfitters In Minnesota?

I have a forum myself and often see if a person just worded their title a little better, I'd suspect they would get more or better answers.

It's a good question though.  When I was more into serious hunting, I recall checking the back of the many magazines for MN outfitters and found none.  Maybe there's a market there?

I also suspect the lack of a response is due to little or no outfitters to speak of.  ??

Good luck,

Snareman

Thanks for the help.  I can't go this year so I may wait until this winter to try again.

Only "bear guides" are listed on the DNR website.

Maybe deer outfitting isn't allowed?

There's a place down near Houston that claims to have 4000 acres of QDM land. The guys name is Redmond. (His brother owns the Archery Experts in the cities) Be prepared to open your wallet for a crack at one of his trophies though. I believe when I last checked it was around $5000 for 5 day hunts.
