Remington Genesis....good, bad or boat anchor?
« on: November 12, 2007, 01:10:31 PM »
I am considering purchasing a Remington Genesis.  Does anyone have any positive or negative experiences with them?

Thanks

I was at the range yesterday shooting my Black Diamond. A guy on an adjacent bench was shooting his new Genesis with 2 777 pellets and Precision Dead Centers ( I don't know the weight) Anyway, we got to comparing group size and he was consistently in the 2 to 2.5" range shooting with a Bushnell Trophy red dot sight. He had the one with 4 different reticles and was shooting the little 3 minute dot. I was impressed, considering he wasn't shooting a scope with any magnification. Fit and finish seemed decent enough, except the little cover over the breech plug/209 primer that seemed kind of loose fitting.
Hope this helps
