Is this a good price on a Keltec PF-9
« on: November 08, 2007, 01:35:24 PM »
Was waiting on my wife today to meet me for lunch and decided to do some man shopping. Found a new in the box Keltec PF-9 for $279 and next to it a Keltec 380 for $249. I have not been pricing any handguns as of late and really don't need any more at this time{don't tell my wife that} but I am always looking for  a good buy on something. It looked like a good CCW gun. Would this be a good price on this gun? All replies welcome.
Thanks,
Paul

I've had a PF-9 on back order for a couple months now, so if you can get your hands on a late production model with the latest improvements, I'd go for it, the early PF-9s had some problems that will require repair at the factory.

I paid $249 for a PF-9, but they are hard to pick up, so if you want it $279 ain't so bad,   Doug

;D Well I bought the little PF-9 today. I was hoping they would haggle a little on the price but no luck. The guy at the shop made a good point with me. He said by the time I paid shipping  and a fee to a dealer I would have the $20 to $30 difference in price that I found a few on the web for. I think I am going to wrap it up and give it to myself for Christmas from by daughter. That should surprise her. Thank you for your opinion's
