Well...this isn't EXACTLY the right place to post this, but it is the first site on the GBO list, so....
Tomorrow is the 232nd anniversary of that gathering in Tun Tavern in Philadelphia where that group of patriots, swashbucklers, adventurers, and all around tough characters organized themselves into the senior naval service...the Continental Marines...before there was even a Continental Navy !
