What does "line-bored" mean?

 :) Hi there.  I hear talk about line-bored chambers on some revolvers.  What does that mean?

simple answer is the blank cylinder is put in the frame and a jig is threaded into the barrel threads of the frame and the cylinders are bored in perfect alignmnet with the barrel.
