50 Alaskan Encore

Here's my favorite Encore barrel, 50 Alaskan from SSK. It's a 24" heavy barrel with fish gill arrester. It shoots like a dream. I really enjoy shooting cast bullets. I like the 580 grain WFNGC, 635 grain LFNGC and the 700 grain WFNGC. The 635 grain LFNGC will do 1800 fps.

700 grain bullet....what do you load that with?.....an oil rig?

Wow that is a huge round. I didn't know you could put rounds that large into the encore.
