Free floating Weatherby Varmint special

Hi I am going to get a Weatherby Varmint Special and wonder if any of you guys free floated the barrel, and if so what were the results? I also want to use a bipod on it, does this effect the accuracy beings that the barrel is in contact with stock?? Thanks alot!!

Shoot it first then you can work with loads. Then you can go to floating the forearm. Each gun is diffrent and yours might shoot well out of the box and I think it will.
