Replacement Screws for Forend
« on: November 30, 2007, 10:23:16 AM »
I bought a 50cal barrel from a guy, but he didnt ship the screws that hold the forend to the barrel.  Any idea where I can get some replacement screws so I can get to using my new barrel?

Thanks,
bozeman

As an alternative, if you'd rather not wait, you can get allen head screws (10/32) from a True Value hardware store.  Got them in different lengths for the various forends.

if it is a 50 cal. muzzleloading barrel, you will need 1/4x28 socket head screws. Any good hardware store has them.
It it is a 50 cal cartridge rifle barrel, you can only get the screws from T?C, as they are 8-40's. Assuming of course you are talking Encore!!!
