How much is one of these worth? It's a 30/30 and I'm looking to buy one this weekend but asking price is 250.00...

It would help to know the model and condition.

If it has a nice walnut stock and is in good condition then 250.00 seems like a good deal to me. I'd be happy to find a nice older 30-30 for 250.00. Ofcourse I would pay more for a nice old gun than I would for a brand new one.

Now, Youre gettin' pickey !  ;)

Seriously, unless it's only fit for use as a tent peg, $250 is a decent price for any .30-30 Marlin.
