The wife harvested her first deer this afternoon, a nice little doe. She harvested it with 60 grains of FFFG under a 245 grain ballet thru her sidekick. She watched it for over an hour before dropping the hammer on it. The distance of the shot was about 30-35 yards and the little doe ran about 60 yards. No problem with tracking, good blood trail, total pass thru. "I'm proud of her"! She has one more tag and is very confident in her sidekick. I'm limiting her to 50 yards and I feel this combo will do the job on whitetails at this range.
