I have done some minor research, mainly of looking at the current T/C website and a 2004 T/C catalog I have laying around.
The stock I have matches what they show on the website. The *other* stock I've seen is in the 2004 catalog.
Here is the page on the T/C website that shows the stock I have, # 7706:
http://www.tcarms.com/firearms/encoreAccessories.phpThe wood stock, #7722, looks more like the *other* synthetic stock I've seen.
The *other* stock is fatter from the base of the pistol grip back, and thinner at that point. The *U* shape that's created at that point is larger than the *U* on my stock, and the cheeckpiece on that *other* stock goes back almost all the way to the butt-pad before it drops. Mine drops about an inch sooner and is at a more gentle slope.
It looks like the pistol grip is shorter on the new stock, and that it has less drop than the old stock,
The LOP is listed as the same, but I bet the older one is shorter.
