my friend has a gamo nitro 17 and the manual says not to use any oil in the barrell or compression/spring chamber. i had another friend with an rws 34 and it came with chamber/barrel oil and the rws manual stated that it should be used in the chamber and barrel. the rws 34 did diesel alot and it was probably too much chamber oil. with the gamo nitro 17 if no oil is used in the barrell wouldnt it rust? and no oil in chamber wouldnt the piston seals and spring wear out with no oil?
