wife's accident
« on: December 03, 2007, 01:36:31 AM »
My wife had an accident, Sunday afternoon she slipped on the ice and broke her leg in two places.
she has a 4 inch parallel break in her large leg bone, just above the ankle and a k shaped break in the smaller bone, about 2 inches above the ankle joint.
ofcourse, she's casted, 7 to 8 weeks laid up, no work or driving..
i willl, of course be her house maid, nurse and go-for guy.
so, i will not be on here as much, or  as consistantly for a while at least, but i wil get the time

So sorry to hear about your wife. Leg breaks can be very painful, I hope she has a quick and trouble free recovery.

BUMMER!

On a lighter note and since this is a Handi forum, now it won't be as easy for her to catch you sneaking new handi's or barrels into the house!   ;)

I do wish her a speedy recovery

My prayers go out to your wife, for her injury, hoping she heals well, and for having to put up with you as her nurse. I hope she likes your cooking. Perhaps you can set her up near the computer and she could become a Handiholic as well. Staying current with, and posting to, this forum would give her something to do while healing. Tell her best wishes and good healing for all of us....<><....:)

Oh Boy!  That's tough.  Occurring just before the holidays doesn't help, either.  As bad as it is, it could be worse.  Thank goodness she didn't injure her back or neck.

Prayers to both of you.
