I was very suprised at the opinions on this stock in the refered thread, since they are advertised to be used on rifles and shotguns. It seems to works very well on my sons' .12 gauge 870 even with the slug barrel. Of Course the stock is adjusted only when heavy clothes pushes the scope too far out to get a good sight picture. Is the general opinion that it is not durable enough or too dangerous because you could get that nasty black eye? I have seen them on some production turkey guns I'm thinking of the Mossberg tactical turkey. Anyway I could see the potential eye issue.
