Thanks all.  Waiting on a new set of scope rings to get here. I figured in the mean time I'd either add the oring to float the foreend, or I would do the RTV silicon bedding. Which do you guys suggest?
How important is it to sand the forearm?  I don't want to take off much wood as it's much harder to put back on than it is to take off.  I figure with the RTV or oring I can undo those easily enough.

I wouldn't do anything until after you shoot it, take an O-ring with ya to the range, if it doesn't shoot good without it, then try it. Just remember all the basics that help ya get the best accuracy. ;)
