OT: will she ever pop

well as most of you know i'm about 1/3 of the way through my first tour in iraq ,i'm also a newlywed and my wife is about to have a baby . i'll tell you what even with the stuff going on here nothing stress me out more then trying to get here every night to see if my daughter is born yet. my wife has been dilated for lord knows how long (2 weeks i think) and has been having baby contractions for about 4 days , and she is hating every minute of it , every time i call i'll i hear is how it hurt and how she doesn't want to be pregnant anymore. i guess my daughter is going to be just as stubborn as me and come whenever she is good and ready.

the first kid is usually 2 weeks late at least that was the way it worked for me and most of the people we knew when we were doing that .

Mitchel, women are like that. My stepdaughter was late and hasant improved in 28 yrs. She had just started out and started hollaring and hasant quit yet. (this accourding to her mom). See what youve got to look forward to!!! But woundent trade the stepdaughter for any other.

army ,i'm a scout in 3rd ACR , Mosul. thank you all for your good wishes, but i would worry about being safe . i tore most of the ligaments in my ankle falling off a Bradley while out on mission about 4 weeks ago so now i'll i can do is gun a humvee or sit on a radio . no more counter sniper missions or dismounted missions in general for me for the next month or two , so i'm about as safe as a scout can get over here.

as for my daughter , i'm sure she will come soon if she waits for another 10 days the doc said that they will induce my wife if her pain get too unbearable . i'll let you guys know whenever she decides to come out.

She will come in her own time.
That part about being tired of being pregnant is normal too.
Won't take her long to forget that.
My wife called me everything but a white man for two weeks claiming "You did this to me!", now she is talking about #2.

you that the funny thing even though she want her out so much she is already talking about how since i missed half of the pregnancy that when i get back she wants to do it again.  ??? i think when i get back i'll be watching those pill on the nightstand a lot closer  ;D

i want more then one kid hopefully a boy next time (i have to have some reason to buy new guns) but i think I'd like to wait a little this time

My daughter was about 8 weeks early and only 2lbs-10oz.  She was born at Fitzsimmons Army Hosp. in Denver.  Was and still is my pride and joy. 

I am glad we had our kids young.  Now I have grand kids and can still get around well enough to do stuff with em and thats priceless.

Hay Mitchell,
Glad to hear your still safe. Sorry about the bad fall, but you'll scab up and heal over. We will keep praying for you and your safe return. That little one will be out and about soon, they just like to make Momma miserable so she will remember the day she was born. It may be a good thing that your away. My wife called me several different names that can't be used on here when our son and daughter were born. I think my hand is still a bit on the disjointed side. We will pray for a good birth and healthy baby.

I with you on this. My 8yr old daughter has her own .223 Handi and can shoot as good as I can!!
