Win. 94 cartridge guide screw question
« on: December 11, 2007, 04:03:39 AM »
Would like to replace one of the cartridge guide screws in a pre 64 Winchester model 94.
They are tightened/loosened from the inside out, can't see a good way to get at this screw.
Do I need to make a screw driver for this...bend it 90 degrees and grind it to fit?  Does anyone make a tool?
The reason I want to replace is because at some point in history, I can see where this screw got loose, and someone tried to tighten it up with something
that did not fit, and they buggered it up.  I just want a new screw in there.

Thanks for the help

Jim

Why thank you sir....I was thinking most people might be doing this, I'll stop on the way home and pick one of these "Winchester cartridge guide tools" up!

Thanks for the input
