Went hunting last night with a buddy of mine who has not been able to go for the past two years due to work. Since he was down and off for the holidays we loaded up the dogs and went. Even though it is still deer season I decided to take a chance for him. We got to his in-laws farm early and cleaned up on the dove. Getting our limit in no time. Then once it got dark we vested and collared up the dogs and a huntin we went.
The first place we hit we got on some hogs in some thick, THICK brush and the dogs could not keep up. I guess I am gonna have to get smaller dogs. Once we got all the dogs back in we loaded up and went to another place of mine and dropped the dogs again. This time all heck busted loose and we had hogs running every wheres. The dogs finally latched onto a 100 pound sow and that is how we ended the night. Felt good to get him and a few of his church group kids out. The kid who stuck it had never been before and is hooked now. As soon as I get my digital back from him I will post up the pics.
