mould machining dimensions

mould machining dimensions ok what are final OD's for for a .452 .502 moulds i have old blocks, a machinist buddy, and ideas just no idea for the cold OD so its right when casting

have someone do a cerrosafe casting of the molds you want to make the machinest will know how to calculate it from there

his ? is of temp what dimesional changes are there @ casting temps thats what he wants we want a cooled diam of .503 and .452

I think what torpedoman is saying is that you could cast a test bullets out of cerrossfe to get the actual mold demensions. The difference between the cerrosafe bullet and a lead bullet will give you the data that you need.
