Elmo ,
I have a Bushnell Banner Scope 1.5-4.5x 32mm (shotgun scope) on my black powder smoke pole (CVA Magbolt 150)
love that the center ring around the fine center cross hairs is the same size as the bullseye at 100 yrds heh
Has done good as for sighting in and remaining on point even after i had the four wheeler roll over on top of the rifle while traversing a fallen tree this ML season , Yeah Yeah i know guys hehhehe ... thats not the point you need to focus on lol
the point being that even after taking a tumble and having the wieght of the 4 trax on it 2 times before coming to rest on a tree.... Was that it still shot true .. A testiment to CVA and Bushnell !
Also picked up a Dusk to Dawn 3-9x40 ,It tops my 223 handi bull barrel .. So far it has done good, But i think i wont be tryin the Four wheeler roll over test on it
On the other side I too have had one of the Nikons' in 4x32 ... It topped my old Mini thirty and did great ,good clarity and light gathering...Price wasnt bad for the quality of glass that nikon makes, and sold me on nikon as a very good optic choice versus Legpole and some of the other high end scopes out there..
Hope that helped ya out ..
