Getting to know people
« on: June 25, 2003, 01:58:57 PM »
Hey guys, I'm new here, and I'd like to familiarize myself with other members. If its not too big of a deal, could some of you guys post your "setups", ie guns, sights, favorite ammo, etc?
Also, are there any "rules" about restarting dead topics and stuff like that?
thanks in advance.

TravisM:

There are no "rules" which prevent you from expanding on  topics previously posted...should you have something to offer or a question to ask.  Don't be shy about jumping in and contributing...this site is a great resouce.

All GB ask of us is to keep it clean and respect other's optionions.  Pretty simple really.

Enjoy!   ...Chris    :D

welcome aboard!  Given this is in the "Rimfire" section I'm guessing you're curious about our rimfire toys.  For me, while I have a few I don't really use much now.  The ones I do use...

Ruger P8GC: 22/45 w/ 8" bbl blued completely stock at this time.  I am very impressed with the out-of-the-box performance so I haven't dard change it.  I may install some trigger parts to smooth it up a little.
Ruger 10/22T: fitted into a Fajen blk/blk thumbhole sporter stock with a Simmons 4X
Ruger 10/22:  Kimber bbl and the Ruger "T" stock w a BSA reddot (squirrel gun)

I'll either redo the 10/22T or more than likely build up another on a Barracuda stock and Volquartsen parts.  (couple SAs ahead of this project though.)

Feel free to add to any of the past threads or create your own new ones.  we're all here to assist one another! :D
