Topper Deluxe Classic vs Topper Trap Gun

Do any of you guys know the difference between the TDC and the Topper Trap gun? I was wondering if the Trap Gun is the same except for the stock. I know most trap guns shoot higher than field grades and thought maybe they did this through the stock being taller. Thanks, JamesIII

The trap gun has a 30" barrel and comes in 12 gauge barrel only.

The TDC come in 28" barrel in 12 or 20 gauge.

Both shoot 3 inch shells.

Is the stock and forearm available from the trap gun, It's not listed in the faqs

From what I can see on the H&R site, the barrel length and stock are the only differences. I do not see a tapered rib on the trap barrel (picture just might not show it). I know many trap guns do not have a tapered rib, but sight changes are made in the stock. I would suspect that is how H&R does theirs. One could change from a trap gun to a field gun simply by changing stocks. I would just call H&R but their Customer Service does not seem to be up to speed on such things, per reports on this site. Time to find someone who has one in stock and ask some questions. JamesIII
