Nice winter 8 point....
245 pb, 80gr 777 (my most recent favorite load).
Yes, I did take a rasp to the clunky stocks! I don't use the rod, hate the goofy breech plug tool, kinda like the original primer carrier deal, but for all the muzzleloaders I have used over the years, this Huntsman barrel on a 45/70 frame is very accurate, and my all time favorite hunter!

This is about as good a shot of my Huntsman as I have. Pic is from 2006, and I since replaced small scope, with an old Bushnell I had laying around. I have always been extremely happy with both accuracy, and dead on the spot deer with 245 aero Powerbelts out of my Huntsman barrel on sb2 frame!
Another neat feature, is once I have the meat, heart and liver packed on back, this little rifle is easy to carry and hunt back to the car with.
