Checkerd Strait Grips?
« on: December 20, 2007, 12:58:51 PM »
Hey there again, Was wondering if there is a manufacturer out there that makes strait grips or replicas of BC stocks that are differnt kinds of wood or lams and if they are checkerd. I have been finding all sorts of strait grip stocks and reg forarms that are pretty but not checkerd and not really what im looking for. Anybody got any ideas besides checkering em myself.

GBO sponsor GSI makes straight stocks, but I don't know if they checker them, ya might give Ed a call, he has stuff that's not listed on his website, like mannlicher forends.

Of course there are the camo and cinn lam checkered straight stocks that H&R makes too. ;)

Yup, cost about $103 shipped, they're listed in the 2007 Retail part price list in the FAQs, but I don't know if those are checkered, I'd ask for them specfically when you order them so you don't end up with the uncheckered.

Those look great quick!
I might have to get a set of straight stocks for my .357 after seeing those,
maybe even a set of Buffalo Classic stocks.
