Hi,

I put a post like this on Shooters.com and never got anything so will try here.

A friend of mine took one apart and said they were junk. On the other hand, he didn't like aluminum receivers on Beretta 390's either.

Anyhow I saw a post saying the scope rails would twist without much pressure. Anyone else had that problem?

How is the trigger pull?

Have you got any comments on yours?

I bought a youth model for my girls and am pretty impressed with the accuracy and overall quality for the price. I don't think it would be that easy to twist the scope rail, that would involve twisting the the whole reciever case. If it were for me I would get a marlin if I could afford it. Much better gun. KN

My trigger pull was around four lbs so I took it apart to lighten the trigger. all of the working parts in the action looked to be steel and held in place by steel pins tapped into aluminum on either side. To some people that may be cheap but I saw nothing in the action that would leave me to believe that the henry would not hold up to reapeating firing and a lot of fun. Hope this helps.

They have guarantee full satisfaction so I guess you can't go too far wrong. I was sold on the 94/22 till I sound out they won't shoot shorts.

For the price of a Marlin, l I think I would rather buy a CZ 452 CA.

The Henry would just be for lever action practice. It's real difficult for a left handed shooter to shoot a right handed bolt gun in prone position. REA
