Fixin to buy a new NEF/H&R

I have finally decided to take the plunge into the NEF/H&R world. I have a few questions that I am sure have been answered before but I cant seem to find the definitive answer. I want to buy a 22-250 to start with and plan on adding a few more barrels as time goes on. From what I know and have read interchanging centerfire barrels is not a big issue . My question is can I change the same rifle to a rimfire or do I have to buy one type of NEF/H&R for centerfire and a seperate one for rimfire. Thanks in advance for all the help and I look forward to joining this group of shooter soon.

 You will have to get two {2} actions,Rim fire and center fire don't mix.
 You can not fire a rim fire on a center fire action, or vice Visa.  Marv.
