Santa came early this year.

I m working at the fire station (24 hrs) tomarrow. So as I explained to the kids, Santa makes a special trip for the people working christmas day. So today was my familys Christmas. ;D Kids are awsome, they wore me out So tomarrow business as usual. I ll be cruising this place, so feel free to stop in. I ll feel pretty lucky though. We have alot of men & women away from home .Iraq & other bases around the world. Something Ive done in the past is to explain to the kids, that our way of life has come at a cost ,past & present. I guess what Im tryng to say is think about the men & women who got us here. Enjoy your day Hug your kids, Love you wife & count your blessings. I  got to thinking of all the Christmas s I stood duty when I was in Korea, Alaska, England Spain and Conus. I look around and see that it was worth it, well worth it

Merry Christmas Jay.  I have nineteen years of law enforcement experience, so I know what you are talking about.  Telling your kids  what we have comes at a cost is simply priceless.   In the years to come they will understand.   They are lucky to have you.
