light 2.5x scope
« on: March 09, 2008, 01:13:55 PM »
like to get a real light scope for regular mounting on a rifle. bsa has a 7.5 oz model but it has 8" eye relief. that won't work on a regular scope mount system will it?
every day is a gift. use it well

The Weaver K2.5x20 has 4" of eye relief, weighs 7.1oz, but it's only available in gloss and has been discontinued, might take some looking to find one, there were some on Ebay.

I agree, that's to long an eye relief & would be more appropriate for a scout scope mounting or a handgun. Spend a little money & get Leupold's FX-II 2.5x ultra light at 6.5oz. & 4.9in. eye relief.
