.223 With New Scope
« on: December 27, 2007, 07:56:46 AM »
I posted a while back about the Bushnell Sportsman 4 x 12 40AO probably going south on my Handi .223. It was shooting 1/2 to 5/8" until I adjusted the windage a couple of clicks and then it was spraying all over. Just got back from the farm with a new Banner 3 x 9 x 40 mounted on it. I am now a happy camper. Two holes almost touching at 50 yards and the adjustments seem to work great. I was using UMC 55 grain metal jacket because I have quite a few rounds on hand. Will pick up some better ammo later and fine tune it. Going to see what Bushnell will do about the other one since it is the one made specifically for Wal-Mart.
