Scope Tracking

I have a Leupold EFR 6.5-20 that doesn't seem to track right. I use this scope as a multi-purpose scope-- silhouette shooting, indoor league, and varminting-- I notice that after I adust the elevation or the windage my first shot goes to some ungodly place, and then after 2-3 rounds it settles to a truer point of impact.  Is there something that can be done to fix this?

Leupold will fix that free. What happens is the adjustment is sticking. Leupold scopes seldom do that. But they stand behind their product

There is nothing you can do,personally,because you will lose the nitrogen if you take the scope apart. Just call Leupold,& send it to them.

chunter, it is strange to me that you find a Leupold has this problem.
I have one 6,5-20x50LR VXIII in my .308 and have tried several others of my friends, and find they're all dependable or reliable adjustments, both for the vertical and horizontal. (i can easily change them in some ranges, from 100 to 300m, back to 100, then to 200, 400 etc. and the p.o.i. is always right).
So far i find that Leupold is a very good one on this. In other side i can not depend on cheap scopes in this thing.
If you have the problem, i suggest you do as Jose have advised you.
