FoxRidge has been making them for years..as a wildcat it was known as a 17 Mach IV..

yes sir..one and the same, Remington just stuck their name on it..do a Google search on the round and you will get alot of info..

Actually No. They are not the same, but they are very close in dimensions. The problem is that not all the .17MKIV's are chambered the same, some will accept the .17 Rem Fireball some will not.

What Reed said, and he correctly called it the 17 Remington Fireball.   The 17 Remington is based on the 222/223 case families.
