No 5.56 Millimeter Military Ammo?
« on: December 27, 2007, 10:13:59 PM »
I was told not to use 5.56 Millimeter (.223) Military Ammo in my handi rifle because it will damage the extractor. Anyone else hear this?  ???

This topic has been discussed quite a few times on here in the past. Commercial .223 ammo and military 5.56 ammo are loaded to different specs. NEF/H&R issues a warning against using mil. spec. ammo in the .223 Handi.

The warning note can be seen in the FAQs, there's one in the box with each .223 H&R rifle. ;)
