Experience with PX-4 Storm

I have a buddy who is a police officer and he can't say enough good things about this handgun.  Any thoughts?

Everything I've read on this gun has been positive.  So I went out and bought one.  Haven't shot it yet, but hope to in a couple of weeks.

I'll post a range report afterwards.

Just shot my new .40 Storm at the range this evening. I can't find fault at all. I love the looks and the smooth rounded edges everywhere. With all my Paras, Kimbers and Glocks this could end up being one of my favorites. A Fobus paddle on the way. May be a little big to conceal but I sometimes carry a double stack Para with no problem so we'll see. If you can get past "plastic", the Px4 is worth checking out.

bought a px4 storm in 9mm. I changed to the smaller supplied grips. shot 600 rounds through it-extremely  accurate and no jams

I have one also.Suppose to be very accurate. I have not got to sit down with mine. I have just done a little playing.

I heard that the Canadian Mounted Calvary is going to them now,, some US law enforcement people have gone to them also.

Finally fired my PX4 after having it for 9 months.

EXCELLENT!  Super accuracy and consistent shot groups.  I noticed they got better after a couple of magazines.  Don't know if it was me, or just the barrel getting broken in.

It also seemed to have less felt recoil than my CZ-40P.

Plus the PX4 has a good, smooth trigger, and no grittyness, especially when firing SA.  It had a gentle pull until you got to the sear, and then it released.

Overall, I am extremely pleased with this gun right out of the box.

I bought one in a 9mm several months ago-traded in my ruger p95; storm is very accurate with no jams; it shoots better than my high power; switched to the small grips
