20 ga. USH Hornaday vs. lightfields.
« on: December 26, 2007, 12:48:06 PM »
I went to the range with my 20 ga. I took 3 boxes of EXP. 3 3/4 lightfields, and 1 box of Hornaday SST. I began with the lightfields I used 3 boxes, and my average group of three shots was 3-3.5". I was dissapointed, then I shot with the Hornaday SST and grouped three shots within .75". I am an SST man now. Next time I go out to the range, I will get three boxes of the SSTs and try it from 100 yards. I'll keep it posted.

That's great.  Lightfields flew great (3" at 150 yards) but i got bad performance on two deer.  Went to SST's this year.  Great performance on deer but lost some accuracy but sticking with them.  I would say count yourself blessed and buy a bunch of SST's.
