Here are some pics of a Gunstocks Inc. STINGER stock that I modified the grip.
Getting started.
Finger grooves cut.
Right hand palm swell.
Small thumb ledge. All that remains is the finish.

Stinger stock finished!! You can remove as little or much, to a certain point, to get the feel you like.
