Lee Enfield ATI scope mounts
« on: December 30, 2007, 02:09:52 PM »
Anyone use the ATI scope bases for the #1 and #4 Enfield rifles?  I have a sporter in each make.  The #4 has one of the B-Square mounts, seems solid enough, but it's WAY too high for me.  The #1 has a weaver tip-off base on it (TO3?) which is fine, but I'd rather use regular weaver rings since all my other guns have them and I have a box of rings in the safe, rather than buy the tip-off rings.  Just wondering if the Advanced Tech. mounts are solid.  If nothing else, I'll go with the old Williams side mount eventually.  Thanks!!

I have an ATI scope base on my #4 that has been very servicable.  I use this rifle for banging around on the quad, camp gun, in the drift boat and so on.  It always seems to shoot to the same point of aim.  I will say I was not to found of removing the rear peep to make the base work.
