Been trying the cast performance .458 405grain WFNGC's in the lott. At 100 yards, was getting about 5" groups with open sights. This was at about 2450fps. I need to get a scope on it and see what it can really do. It does shoot quite a bit high though, with the 100yard sight up, shooting at 100 yards, I can't put the target on the bead, I have to put the target right in the middle of the opening (half moon front sight) and the bead is about eight inches lower than the POI.
We were laying down, had it on a bipod, and the recoil would make the legs of the bipod retract about every third shot! You know it's a good gun.
