New No Thrills G2!!!

Just got this one put together. TC over nighted the SS G2 frame and while I was gone to pick it up the BIG BROWN TRUCK delivered the barrel. The barrel is a 14" SS SSK 6.5JDJ T'SOB Full Lenght Vent Rib. Topped with a 2X7 Burris scope in 3 Burris Zee rings. No fancy wood for this one. Its sole purpose is hunting.

  That's a real nice setup but i have one question what is the purpose of vent-rib BBL on a non shot style BBL like on the 45-410?    , superdown

Probably no purpose at all  other than I like the way it looks.

I made a rib for an 18" custom shop 450 marlin barrel that looks alot like that. No function, but it looks nice.  KN

Dave (or others) do you like the Burris over a Leupy or Bushnell 3200?  I guess you do or you would not have it on your pistol  .  Maybe I should ask why do you like the Burris better?

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ And they work well for me!!!  I dont think Leupy or Bushnell offer the 12 power.
