Good for them. The honorable Richard M. Daley (meant sarcastically) has seen fit to put these up all over the chicagoland area. However he had the forethought to put them on top of light posts so you can't get to them. I wonder how many of our liberties have to be chipped away a little at a time until we reach the point of doing something about it. They say it helps keep crime down, I think it just moves crime to an area without cameras so they can say the crime rates are going down in high crime areas. I don't remember the exact quote but it was something like "Those willing to sacrifice freedom for safety are deserving of neither" Ben Franklin I believe, someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
